MANF 1433 — Advanced Fluid Power Systems
Sem: F/S 2 Lec./2 Lab Hrs./week Prerequisites: TECH 2013 Fluid Power with a grade of “C” or better. This course analyzes the principles of intermediate and advanced hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Topics include various types of hydraulic and pneumatic valves, pumps, cylinder types, control systems, filtering, hose fittings and other components relevant to industry-level skills related to the operation, installation, performance analysis, maintenance, and design of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Safety procedures and practices are emphasized. A lab fee is required.
