MACH 2044 — Introduction to Computer-Aided Manufacturing
Sem: F/S 3 Lec./2 Lab Hrs./week This course covers the study and application of Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) 2D Geometry using MasterCam software. Topics include CAM concepts, drawing standards, drawing with precision, editing, view control, measurement, text and annotations, dimensioning, drawing layout and plotting. Emphasis is placed on the application of standards to graphical communications and the development of hands-on skills using 2D Geometry. Safety procedures and practices are emphasized.
