MACH 1055 — CNC Turning
Sem: F/S 3 Lec./4 Lab Hrs./week Prerequisite: MACH 1014 Job Planning, Benchwork & Layout with a grade of “C” or better. This course provides comprehensive instruction and exercises on Haas lathe setup, Haas CNC lathe programming, the Haas lathe intuitive programming system, modern cutting tools, applications of the Machinery’s Handbook, and basic machining theory. Students will be prepared to take the NIMS Level I Performance Assessment for CNC Turning. Lab and testing fees are required.
