ISTC 1023 — Hardware Essentials
Sem: F 3 Lec. Hrs./week This course presents an in-depth exposure hardware and an introduction to networking. Emphasis is placed on best practices in maintenance, troubleshooting hardware and safety issues. Students will perform computer assembly, disassembly, and part replacement. Course develops critical thinking and problem-skills through hands-on labs, activities and use of a network simulator. A lab fee is required.
