AMTA 1491 — Aircraft Instrument Systems
Sem: F/S/Su 7 Lec. /14 Lab Hrs. Prerequisite: Successful completion of the Certificate of Proficiency in Aviation General Maintenance Technology. Students will learn to inspect, check, service, troubleshoot, and repair electronic flight instrument systems, and both mechanical and electrical heading, speed, altitude, temperature, pressure and position indicating systems to include the use of “built-in” test equipment. Students will also be taught how to install instruments and to perform a static pressure system leak test. A lab fee is required.
