airframe structures, systems, and components. Emphasis is placed on metallic structures, non-metallic structures, flight controls, communications, light signals, runway lighting systems, rotorcraft fundamentals, and water and waste systems. Upon completion, students should be prepared to pass the applicable portions of the knowledge, oral, and practical tests of the airframe rating for the FAA mechanic’s airframe certificate.
